June 2013 Butler St Bridge Work Day

On Sunday June 30th 2013 we were back on Rochdale Canal for some towpath repair under Butler st Bridge in Ancoats which needed raising due to constant flooding. We also did some painting under the bridge  as well as cleaning up the towpath approaches and a litter pick…. Oh and we also installed a duck house further down the canal near Flint Glass Wharf.

Thanks to Koffee Lock Café for lunch and many thanks to Jill Jennings for letting us use some of the publicity shots she took – we look forward to seeing them in CRT etc canal adoption docs in the near future.
