What a great day we had out on the Ashton Canal at the end of May. The weather wasn’t too bad and we got everything we wanted to done done done…and early even! We planted 50 climbing plants along two fencelines (mix of dog rose, honeysuckle and clematis) to add some more vertical colour to the area, topped up our window planter boxes with additional soil and went along and gave some TLC to some of the hedge whisps that weren’t so stable in the ground. The good news is that the vast majority of the hedging plants we put in last month are showing solid signs of leaf growth so make sure to continue to check on their progress as they should only get better and better the more established they get. As always, thanks to Vivid Lounge for the lovely sandwiches.
