The weather was wild and unpredicable but even so, an impressive number of people showed up to get busy with tree planting! We planted all of the 210 trees donated us by the Woodland Trust, which includes a row of cherry trees along the Rochdale next to where the school is going to be, several silver birch trees on the Ashton beween Stubbs Mill and Bridge 4, a row of rowan trees on the Ashton behind the stone wall starting at Vivid Lounge and filled in many little gaps in the hedges on the Ashton with a variety of natives between Bridges 4 and 5. Great work everyone!
